Using shotcrete, typically found in commercial applications, allows for greater PSI strength in concrete walls and cuts the time and costs associated with pouring into concrete forms. Ashbury completes foundation and garage projects with stronger walls and a cleaner overall finish.
SEISMIC
The Mandatory Soft Story Retrofit Program (MSSP) was created in 2013 to ensure the safety and resilience of San Francisco's housing, through the retrofit of older, wood-framed, multi-family buildings with a soft-story condition. As part of this program, all affected property owners were noticed beginning in September 2013 and were required to have submitted their screening forms to DBI.
The MSSP is designed to safeguard the building and life safety In San Francisco in the event of an earthquake. Buildings that have not complied with this requirement have been placarded and issued Notices of Violation (NOV).
Ashbury has the project experience and in-house tradespeople to accurately assess & estimate your project as we have performed work on MSSP projects throughout SF. Contractor's that perform foundation work & seismic upgrades, typically rely on subcontractors for the mechanical, electrical & plumbing portions of the upgrade & often do not have these costs defined in their bid, as the subcontractor would need to inspect and price out the work once the project is underway. Ashbury is able to offer full project pricing from foundation & shoring work required for the project, to a buttoned up proposal for your mechanical, electrical & plumbing work.
